Tax work is unforgiving of guesswork. That's the point of hiring someone.
12 years of preparing returns and entity filings, for clients from Palos Hills to the other side of the country. The decisions that change your bill get made long before April — we'd rather have that conversation early.
We catch problems before the IRS does
Most rejected filings fail on something predictable — a mismatched EIN, a missing form, a state return nobody realised was owed. We check for those before submitting, not after a notice arrives.
Anywhere in the country
Being in Illinois doesn't limit who we work with. Filing is remote and secure, so clients in any state get the same service — the multi-state returns most local preparers would rather not touch, and trucking filings with whatever base jurisdiction applies to you.
We talk to you during the year, not just in April
Entity structure, quarterly estimates, equipment purchases and retirement contributions all change what you owe — and all of them are decided before year end. By filing season the outcome is already set.
Straight answers, in plain language
If you don't need a service, we'll tell you. If something will take longer than you'd like, we'll say so up front rather than after you've paid.

Common questions
Straight answers to what people ask us most
Can you do my taxes if I don't live in Illinois?
Yes. We prepare returns for clients in all 50 states. Federal returns are federal wherever you live, and we handle state returns anywhere you have a filing obligation — including multi-state situations where you moved or earned income in more than one place. The whole process is remote: send documents securely, review the return, we e-file.
Do I have to come to your office in person?
No. Everything can be handled remotely — documents in, return prepared, reviewed and e-filed without you leaving home. If you're local to Palos Hills and would rather sit down with someone, you're very welcome to come in during opening hours.
How do I get my documents to you securely?
Not by email, and not through the form on this site — neither is encrypted end to end, and tax documents contain exactly the information you don't want sitting in an inbox. Get in touch and we'll send you a secure way to upload them.
How quickly can you turn things around?
Individual returns are typically ready the same day, once we have your complete records. Business returns depend on complexity. Entity filings are prepared within 1–2 days, though state processing time varies after that. Filing season is busy — send documents early in the day where you can.
What does it cost?
It varies with the work: a straightforward individual return and a multi-state business return are very different jobs. We quote up front before starting anything, so you'll never see a surprise invoice.
Do you still handle trucking compliance?
Yes — for owner-operators and carriers anywhere in the U.S., though it's a smaller part of what we do than the tax side. IRP renewals, IFTA, UCR, MC and USDOT authority and Form 2290 are all filed with whichever state or federal agency applies to you, so your base state makes no difference. It's all listed under our services.
Not sure where to start? Just ask.
Tell us what you're running and where, and we'll tell you exactly which filings apply — no charge for the conversation.
